Amazing action

This is a great knife for the price. The action is better than some $200 knives I've used. It really is that good. It flicks open just by looking at it. Overall, it's very light and the perfect size for an EDC.

On the downside, this would be only a 4-star knife if price wasn't a factor. The G-10 feels very plasticky, the inside edges where the scales meet the liner are pretty read more sharp. and the tip of the clip creates a bit of a hotspot in the palm. Also, the action is SO good that it makes you start to think that the other flippers you own are aren't as good as you previously thought.

However, those slight negatives are more than made up for by what you get for the price. I love the existence of knives like this because they force other manufacturers to up their game if they want to remain competitive. Oh, did I mention how good the action is?

Very Smooth

This one flicks open faster than any knife I own. It's lightweight and elegant enough to be considered a gentleman's knife IMO.

Thin and slicy. Well made.

Fliptastic!

This was my first Kizer and after a year I’m still very impressed. It flips great, better than my Kizer Shoal which is fantastic too. VG-10 blade and shape is superb. The handle has a generous amount of real estate and texture. The pocket clip is nice but shiny and obvious. I’ love my Spydercos but the Dukes is often in my pocket and gets plenty of use. Great quality at a nice read more price.

Great Action, Size and Price

The many positive reviews on this knife don't lie--it fills a real sweet spot. At 3" it's big enough for most jobs, at 2.6oz it's light enough to carry unnoticed, the hollow-ground blade has a nice slicy profile, the red/black scales are plain pretty and the action is second to none, it flicks open instantly. At $62 the price is right, you pay more for an entry-level Spyderco and read more compared to the Delica (for instance) I much prefer this knife.

Smoothest knife ever

Hands down the smoothest action of any knife I’ve owned or even handled. So smooth you’d think the detent is lousy but it holds solid. Just the slightest pressure and things thing flies open. I never knew such a small knife could drop shut but this guy does it.

Pretty darn good

The knife comes out like a rocket. The action is smooth and the blade came reasonably sharp and perfectly centered from the factory. My one compaint is the lack of a deep carry option. All in all top quality knife for the price.

For the price, this is a great knife. I'd love to have another one. Centering is good and very smooth flipper.

Great knife, feels kinda chinsy

First off, this is a great knife. Dont get me wrong. Bought a ZT 0450 last week and this is superior in terms of tolerances and close in fit and finish. Came very sharp, zero blade play, super smooth action. Was rather dirty tho with chunks of something inside the handle. No biggie. But the one bad think that I'm surprised no one has brought up is the handle at the edges. The G-10 read more is quite sharp at the edge and the back side of the knife which to me feels unfinished. I'll probably disassemble and sand it down just a touch because it's annoying to flip and your finger hits the two sharp edges on the back side of the knife. Also, I know it's meant to be light but I feel like maybe just a tiny bit this her steel skeleton under the handles would make for a better balanced feeling knife. The sharp edges and too light weight handle makes it seem rather flimsy. So I guess I'm saying that if you wanna go light, then shave off the texture on the g10 but since it's not actually all that thin then might as well beef up the handle a bit. Other than that it's a great knife but thought I'd just point out its minimal flaws.

Must Have

Great slicer that's functional, carries well, and looks good. Mine came a bit dry from the factory, but once I lubed it up, the action became one of the smoothest I've ever seen at this price point.

My brother-in-law let me borrow this knife and I cursed him for it. I had to get it! I spent the whole week just fondling it. The flipper action is so smooth. Even though it is a small knife it feels good in the hand (I wear a large size glove for reference). The black and red G10 looks beautiful. Seriously impressed with this knife and I think I hit the slippery slope of “I need read more more Kizer knives.”

This is a very well built knife. The manual open is so smooth. The blade has no coating on it, so it shines beautifully. It's just plain fun to open and close this knife.
The knife is light weight, the G10 is unique, the blade is a nice steel. There's a lot to love about this knife.

Mostly great

Fun flipper for the car or office...wouldn't use for much other than light edc tasks. Could have been sharper from factory given how thin the blade is at the edge.

Awesome knife. I bought it because nutnfancy and Nick Shabazz gave it excellent reviews. This is my favorite flipper knife, the action is top-notch.
