The Kizer Shard is a small, liner lock knife. The Wharncliffe, Bohler N690 steel blade is black stonewash finished and has generous jimping along its spine. This allows for an incredible grip that makes maneuvering the utilitarian blade easy. The yellow G-10 handle is also textured to improve grip. It comes with a lanyard hole and a steel black stonewash, tip-up pocket clip for easy carry. Love the lil fella.
It's a really good little blade. I love the pocket clip, I love the action, the lockup is the most perfect I've ever seen on a production knife, and I've seen many. I use the hell out of mine for opening and cutting down boxes, cutting two liters and milk gallons to compress in the trash better .... it holds a edge for a good long while and for its thickness and how pointy the tip… read more is its very tough. It's a good 5th pocket knife, or a main carry if your wearing athletic shorts. Classy feel, but hard working.
