A new favorite!
This knife is great for the price! The finger choil is in the perfect spot, super comfortable to handle. This is also my first knife with micarta scales, and I'm in love. Sort of a soft jeans texture. It does patina fast though, the edges of the scales started soaking up some of the color of the jeans after the first couple days of good use.
My new favorite knife
I will admit, I am fickle with knives. When I bought a Pilar, I thought it was great. Then I got a Pilar 3, and thought it was perfect. Now I've found this one and it's even perfecter. It is lighter (3.3oz on my postal scale), has a very comfortable grip, and has the same forward finger choil that I've come to love. Plus a truly superior steel that responds well to stropping.
