Due to the popularity of the Begleiter, and the requests to make an even more pocket friendly version, Kizer has cReated the Mini Begleiter. It features all of the things that made the original so popular, just on a smaller scale. It has an open-build with two barrel spacers on either side of the elongated lanyard hole. The EDC-ready design includes a tip-up carry clip, and a caged ball bearing pivot ensures a smooth and reliable action. Looking for something a little bigger? We got you covered. Almost great
I want to love this knife... and I do love most of it. Specifically, the Kizer Azo Vanguard Mini Begleiter has an outstanding blade (shape, grind, and material)... the texture of the micarta is great.. the recessed pocket clip too. However, the detent is so strong that is very difficult to deploy the blade.
Awesome action.
This knife has some of the best action out of the box of any knife I own. The micarta handles are done very well. It's also very light. I'm not a huge fan of the blade shape, but that hasn't stopped me from recommending or carrying it.
Fidget king
At first I did not know if I would really like this knife because it is a little smaller than I expected. It’s about the same size as a small sebenza. I have ended up loving it and it is a fidget king. I just took an 8 hour trip and fidgeted with it the whole time. The micarta is also great and not that cheap feeling micarta some knives have. The blade is thin behind the edge and very slicey and mine came with a very even and perfectly ground blade. I’ve had this knife for a few weeks now and really don’t think you can go wrong buying it at this price.
First Impression
I like this knife. It's sleek design makes a good edc for the office.
