This knife is Awesome! It came sharp, and it took a really keen edge when I took the sharpening to the next level. It is built like a brick s**t house, super strong, and the perfect size. Surprised
I caught this on sale and decided to snag it. When I first opened it up I thought the size was ridiculous, however, I love it. Great ergo despite the size, s35vn steel is a joy to sharpen. I'm shocked at how much I love this knife.

My first Cold Steel and what a great start! This makes my previous favorites even with similar specs seem insubstantial. It's so ridiculously large and heavy duty, yet so elegant and comfortable, that it just makes me grin and want to find excuses to carry and use it. Getting the bad out of the way, the clip is terrible! It's tight profile and pinned hard to the scales, I will have to bend the clip or something. So why 5 stars with a horrible clip? I prefer it over my Recon 1s, Ultimate Hunter, American Lawman, etc.
This knife is most similar to the Ultimate Hunter but perfects it.

This is an amazing knife. Strong, sharp blade, and super tuff tri-ad lock. The lock up just feels awesome. The handle does cup your hand on the front and back, and is almost too small for me....almost, If I had larger hands this would be a problem, not a one size fits all design.....and I have medium sized hands....I think for the price, this is hard to beat, that being said, the… read more small bit of black aluminum, that makes the lanyard hole looks a bit cheesy, and could have been more refined. Also the liners are "hardened aluminum" which I have never dealt with before.....titanium would have been better.....These are minor things on an all around great knife for under $200.
Amazing Value
I can not understate the smoothness of the action, its almost like its on bearings, but it isn't, you may disagree with how cold steel brands their stuff but man, the quality is next level for what they charge. its also fairly legal length compared to some of their other things so good on them. 10/10
Well balenced knife
This knife has everything going for it. The handle is perfect for the hands and the blade size. Very smooth action. Came razor sharp out of the box. Only thing could be better is; the liners could be smoothed out on the inside a tad for a smoother grip. Very pleased!!
Dropped the ball on finger choil
Would have been 5 stars if the choil could comfortably fit your finger, like my 4 Max (or the Archbishop, WOW) Termination of the edge touches your finger. WELL BUILT
What an awesome tank of a knife and for only 149 bucks you cant beat that. So smooth out of the box and with some opening and closing it gets even smoother. One hand open and closing is much easier than you would think with some practice.
