The Cold Steel Black Talon II was designed by custom knife-maker Andrew Demko and Cold Steel President Lynn C Thompson. This newly designed version of the Talon knife was cReated after fans kept begging Cold Steel to re-release the knife. It is now equipped with an American CPM-S35VN steel blade and has been redesigned for increased strength and durability.The Black Talon II features a fierce hawkbill style blade with a fully serrated edge. The G-10 handle is textured and contoured with pistol grip style finger grooves for improved grip. It is equipped with Cold Steel's Tri-Ad lock for a reliability you can trust. I work on a cattle ranch and this has been great for light to medium-duty cutting of rope, fabric, and netting, like the kind used in rolled hay bales.
